Can Coffee Reduce the Risk of Cancer?
Researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School have stated in a prospective study that the more coffee an adult drinks, the lower their risk of developing basal cell carcinoma, sometimes known as BCC. BCC is the most common form of skin cancer, often presenting itself in early stages as a sore that refuses to heal. Fengju Song Ph.D, co-author of the study, says that there is a inverse relationship between coffee and BCC.
